Sriracha has become a phenomenon in the US and I admit that I have a bottle of Sriracha sitting on the coffee table, ready to use whenever the occasion presents itself. But dumping loads of Sriracha on top of french fries and pizza is a totally different experience than cooking with it, so today I made a Sriracha Honey Sauce and ate it with brussels sprouts. It was divine. It was better than divine. It was sweet, a little spicy, a little salty and absolutely to die for. This sauce can be as mild or as spicy as you want–just adjust the level of Sriracha to meet your taste. You can use Sriracha Honey Sauce on vegetables, french fries, chicken, beef, sandwiches, as a stir fry sauce or basically anything else your heart desires. This Sriracha Honey Sauce recipe can be easily doubled for a larger batch, and it’s so good you might need to!
1/4 cup honey
2 tbsp Sriracha
2 tbsp lemon juice
1 tsp soy sauce
1/8 tsp black pepper
Combine all ingredients in a bowl and mix well.
